Tough the store selection is weak, even if you don't have real life money, you don't really need it to have the essencial game items, sure some get to buy a dragon, or a wolf, or even have pretty cool looking skins but at least now you can buy characters, or keys to your chests.

The game also allows you to ban someone from playing on your session at your will, and even tough you get to see other peoples profiles images, and names there's no real way to know their profiles unless you post the link on the chat, and friending the person doesn't friend you as a Facebook friend, so you get to have your own privacy outside the game.Įach session you make you get a new party of new people, which can make gameplay much more enjoyable and fun, as you explore for treasures that contain powerfull loot, and smash through enemies to increase you experience and money.

As it stands, playing the game for free feels more like playing a rather limited demo as opposed to playing a full game which is improved through paid items.Dungeon rampage is an action RPG game, contrary to this decade of ultra realism graphics, dungeon plays quite nice with it's cartoon feel, all the character are funny in their own way, and play separately from the rest, the berserker your first character plays closed combat using hammer's, axes' and throwing boulders, the ranger is a long distance fighter, she shoots arrows, but can also attack close with knives and use healing speels and so on as you play you'll find several characters to unlock.Ĭontrary to most games out there, dungeon decides to take advantage of facebook online players, as it no matter what level you go you get a 4 man online party of people from all over the world, to ensure that you can communicate with friends or new faces you have an online chat system, pretty cool huh!? Perhaps the monetization of the game could be balanced a little better in the future, with more characters available through soft currency, but a greater number of customization and vanity options available for those who are willing to open their wallets. Many players who enjoy this genre like to play a specific character type, so to be locked out of being able to play in the way they prefer unless they pay up seems a little unfair. It’s a shame that so much of it is locked behind a paywall, however, particularly with regard to the available characters.

The gameplay brings to mind a misspent youth in front of a Gauntlet machine, and there’s certainly plenty of content here for players to unlock and discover. Monetization issues aside, Dungeon Rampage is a fun game and the implementation of multiplayer works well - players may either invite online friends into their games or be matched up with random other players.
