I lived in China for 2 years and bought my card there. I'm also having trouble and I think it's the same card. What can I do here? My old R4 card worked just fine and I was using the Wood firmware (its default setting was a Winnie the Pooh skin! ) I'm fairly new to all of this stuff and I really need some direction on what to do next. Until I try to play a game and then I get an error message with a white background and black text. So I tried to install a different one and the menu shows up, works fine. Half of them when the card is placed into the DS it just shows up with a red square on the top half of the screen and the word 'Menu?' I've tried 6 times so far to install 6 different types of firmware. R4 in large letters Below that it says Upgrade with Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) Above R4 it has a WiFi logo. My box states " on the front" however here's the correct software page for my card ~ and the link to the software itself ~ Įdit- i just downloaded the software from that link and when you open up the zip file it states 1.14b for R4i, so your best bet is to contact the site and find out what they're up to as i don't know if you can use that software on a regular DS lite or if it's just for the r4i.
